From our Security Centre of Excellence, we have observed the recent Malware, ransomware, and phishing attacks in which cyber criminals are using COVID as a loophole to impersonate brands, thus misleading employees, and customers. The targets are businesses and also end-users downloading Pandemic related resources which are being tricked to digitize with masked ransomware. It will help attackers to hack their systems and phones.
Organizations should take proactive measures by instructing and educating their employees and customers to be more aware of cyber-attacks mainly when opening emails, links, or attachments related to the subject COVID-19. Every organization needs to monitor their network to ensure cybersecurity measure.
